Dr. Lisa Schroeder grew up in Dallas and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 1998.

Dr. Schroeder joined White Rock Veterinary Hospital in 2012 after practicing in Northwest Austin for the past 14 years. She was a finalist for the 2008 Purina Veterinarian of the Year and owes her good fortune to her loyal clients. She enjoys being the primary veterinarian for English Springer Spaniel Rescue and Classic Canine as it gives her a chance to give back to the community.

Her special interests include internal medicine, dermatology, acupuncture, and holistic medicine. Dr. Schroeder became certified in acupuncture in 2018 through the Chi Institute in Florida. In 2019 she studied to become a Reiki Master adding energy healing to help her patients recover from pain, stress, and other ailments. In 2021, Dr. Schroeder was named to the Advisory Board of Happy Haven Horse Rescue.

She lives at home with her son and her Chocolate Lab, Hunter. Dr. Schroeder enjoys hiking, yoga, qi gong, and working on horses in her free time.
